California, Here I Come

I will be in San José, California in two days! I am very pleased as it has been ten months since I’ve set foot in my home state.

While I am in the Bay Area I will perform at some of my favorite local shows:

Dates are subject to change and canceled and added…

Let me know if you’ll be around or can come to a show.

And sign up for my newsletter.

Love,

McGee

L.R. DALBY: PLEASE HELP (For the Portland Poetry Slam)

iamlrdalby:

Via Eirean Bradley:

In the interest of staying open and honest with our community: Tonight during the slam, The pointy house (where Eirean, Robyn, Brian, and Bryan live) was broken into and robbed. Thankfully no one was hurt and the lovely house that we call a home was not vandalized or damaged….

“The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed.”
—Albert Einstein

“If the day and the night are such that you greet them with joy, and life emits a fragrance like flowers and sweet scented herbs, is more elastic, more starry, more immortal, — that is your success.”
—Henry David Thoreau
